“Therapy is a profound practice and a privilege I do not take lightly. Each time a new client or couple comes to visit me, I am deeply moved by their bravery and vulnerability.”

My Background

I have been studying relationships since I was 18 years old as I began my undergraduate degree in Family Science. I also finished with minors in Couple and Family Therapy and Psychology.

This put me ahead of the game when I earned my Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy at Thomas Jefferson University in downtown Philadelphia. No better place to get a relationship degree than the City of Brotherly Love!

There I was trained by the Council for Relationships, pioneers in the field of relationship therapy and the first agency to ever offer Couples Therapy in the United States in 1932!

I specialized in Sex Therapy to ensure I had the skills to address any and all things that can come up in therapy!

From there, I practiced in-home family therapy in Philadelphia and earned a 3-year long certification in Structural Family Therapy.

I moved to Colorado in 2014 and am licensed to practice as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist). Since coming here, I have had extensive specialized training in EMDR and Gottman Method Couples Therapy, pursuing certification in both.

On a personal note, I live in the Highlands enjoying the perks of the city while escaping to the mountains to camp or hike on weekends.

To practice what I preach, I have a rich yoga practice over at Better Buzz Yoga, work out at F45 Highlands, and regularly go on mindfulness walks with my goldens, Pax and Kane. I like to journal most mornings with a cup of coffee.

Like most transplant Coloradans, I spend my time camping, hiking, brewery hopping, and finding any other excuse to sun worship outside.
