Meet our Conscious Pathways Team

Jaime Horsfall, LPC

Hi! I’m Jaime Horsfall, LPC! I am compassionate, easy to connect with, and light hearted.

I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, especially when those symptoms are likely connected to a history of trauma. I have a certification in traumatic stress and can assist you with healing both complex trauma and single event trauma.

Complex trauma is trauma that happened regularly and often from a difficult childhood or series of difficult events stacking up. A single event traumatic experiences are things like a car accident, divorce, or assault.

I would be honored to work with you and hold your story.

I also can help you with sleep disorders, namely insomnia. I use CBT for Insomnia as an evidence-based approach that empowers you to regain control over your sleep, leading to improved mental clarity, emotional stability, and enhanced overall wellbeing. You don’t have to suffer with poor sleep any longer.

Lastly, I have a certification as a brain injury specialist trainer. If you have a brain injury – commonly referred to as “TBI” or “ABI/nonTBI”, I can support you through the unique symptoms of a brain injury.

When our brains are injured, often the most severe symptoms remain invisible. There are significant emotional consequences, even more common than the physical side effects. These emotional changes can really take a toll on relationships and change the world we once knew.

I can support you in unpacking the cognitive and emotional changes, then develop practical strategies and action steps to re-engage with your life.

A bit more about me…

My path to become a therapist was far from linear. I received a masters in clinical psychology from the University of Denver, specializing in international disaster psychology with the intention of working with NGO’s in a more organizational level. However, time and time again, I found that I derived the most joy from actually helping humans in the crisis.

I fell in love with supporting those healing from life’s deepest wounds and realized I wanted to work directly with clients in individual therapy.

How do you know if you and I are a good fit for working together?
Well, are you ready to roll up your sleeves and access healing?
Go all in to releasing old burdens holding you back?

I will meet you in that place, providing the safe container to start to unpack years of difficulties.

I will also passionately empower your recovery through helping you become a stronger parent, shed harmful labels, and reconnect with your inner truth so you can create the life you deserve.

I have a particular pull towards working with developmental trauma (trauma from the family or household you grew up in) and brain injuries. And individuals feeling anxious and triggered all the time, or maybe even just feeling stuck.

On a more personal note, I am married with two children. I enjoy hiking, yoga, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

I consider myself an introvert at heart, but appreciate the profound impact of connection so I work to balance meaningful relational time with nurturing myself through solitude.

I have a knack for noticing what lies just beneath the surface to help you go deeper and see what other therapists might miss.

I will show up fully, each and every session, to support you. I am present, non-judgemental, and love walking alongside you to solve problems. It takes alot to ruffle me! I also really love mothering, and bring those nurturing skills right into the therapy room!

If you are ready to face your trauma, recover from a brain injury, or finally resolve your sleep issues, contact me here to set up a free initial consultation to connect and begin our work together!

I am available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am-3pm on location at Conscious Pathways in Wheat Ridge. I may be available for telehealth outside of those hours depending on day, time, and goodness of fit.
